SYNOPSIS

Cypher Vale was raised to belong to the people above the city. Two nights ago, they took everything.

Mercenaries murdered his adoptive parents, seized Lena Corvus, the brilliant engineer he'd only just let in, and left Cypher bleeding out in a storm drain. To save him, the experimental implant in his spine did the impossible. It moved his mind into Aegis, the seven-foot machine he built.

Now he's a fugitive wearing steel, carrying his own dying body through the rain to the one door he never thought he'd knock on again. Nyra sent him away ten years ago. She runs Blackline, a back-street augmentation shop in Downcity, where nobody calls the cops and everybody owes somebody.

The city says Cypher killed his parents. A corporation wants what's in his spine. And somewhere in the dark, a signal is calling his name.

What's left of you when your mind can live anywhere? And who do you choose to come home to?

GHOST SIGNAL. A cyberpunk thriller about grief, found family, and choosing to stay.

PROTOCOL: THE WORLD

Above the city live the people who raised Cypher Vale. Below them sprawls Downcity: back-street clinics, black-market chrome, and debts nobody forgets. In the middle of it all is Blackline, Nyra's augmentation shop, the last place Cypher can hide. Ghost Signal is a story about grief, found family, and choosing to stay, told through a man whose mind no longer needs his body.
